SBDC at BROOKS

ARE YOU READY TO START A BUSINESS?
.
UTSA's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides experienced business advisors who provide confidential counseling to individuals, complement-ed by training on a wide range of business topics. This advice is now available to the public at Brooks City-Base.
BDA Chief Executive Don Jakeway (center)  with Mary Fletcher, Construction Project Assistant (left) and SBDC's Jill Dickman (right) working together to make good use of the funding opportunities available from the federal government to
assist small businesses at Brooks City-Base.

.

The SBDC opened a facility in April in the Brooks Development Authority office building located at 1 B.D.A. Crossing designed to assist  Brooks Air Force employees and contractors, as well as members of the general public. The SBDC at Brooks primarily focuses on researchers who are developing cutting-edge technologies and new products, as well as on entrepreneurs in the general business community. Individuals and businesses who want to start a new business or to relocate their existing businesses to Brooks City-Base are also eligible for assistance from the SBDC.

.

All counseling is free and confidential. A nominal fee is charged for seminars and workshops. For more information, contact the SBDC at (210) 678-3332 or (210) 458-2458.
